About the Lower Saxony Zentralabitur English Exam
Lower Saxony Zentralabitur Englisch is the statewide written English Abitur examination administered by the Niedersächsisches Kultusministerium, based on the KMK Bildungsstandards fortgeführte Fremdsprache Englisch/Französisch (2012) and the Kerncurriculum Englisch (2017). From 2025, fortgeführte modern languages use kombinierte Aufgaben (Hörverstehen + Sprachmittlung + Schreiben). For 2026, verbindliche Materialien cover identity/society short prose (and eA Shakespeare Midsummer + film), Mbue's Behold the Dreamers for USA themes, and Lee-Jones's seven methods of killing kylie jenner for media.
