About the Lower Saxony Zentralabitur Art Exam
Lower Saxony Zentralabitur Kunst is the statewide written Art examination administered by the Niedersächsisches Kultusministerium, based on the Einheitliche Prüfungsanforderungen Bildende Kunst (EPA, 2005) and the Kerncurriculum Kunst (KC, 2015). For 2026 the ministry sets three binding Inhaltsbereiche — Bild des Raumes, Bild des Menschen, and Bild der Zeit — each anchored to specific named artworks by artists including Caspar David Friedrich, Henry Moore, and Picasso.
