Hesse Musik Leistungskurs is the advanced-course written Landesabitur Music assessment administered by the Hessisches Ministerium für Kultus, Bildung und Chancen. Preparation for 2026 rests on the OAVO, the KCGO Musik, and the LA26 Abiturerlass (Erlass vom 26.6.2024), whose section 10 publishes binding Themenfelder with Grundkurs/Leistungskurs differentiation and EPA Musik task structures. The real paper combines Höranalyse, written Erschließung, and may require Gestaltung or Praktisches Musizieren — with LK candidates choosing among two or three task proposals. Leistungskurs additions: Gestaltung von Musik mit schriftlicher Erläuterung and Praktisches Musizieren in Verbindung with Erschließung. Auswahlmodus (10.3): the candidate chooses from two or three proposals — always two Erschließung proposals and, when the school offers it, one Gestaltungsaufgabe; the teacher decides whether Gestaltung is available (Qualifikationsphase preparation and facilities required). If Praktisches Musizieren was bindingly fixed for the entire course beforehand, only two Erschließung proposals are offered and no Gestaltungsaufgabe.
