About the Czech Maturita German Exam
The Czech German Language Didaktický Test (didaktický test z německého jazyka) is the centralized written examination in German administered by CERMAT for the common portion (společná část) of the Czech maturitní zkouška. Calibrated to CEFR level B1, the test consists of 64 tasks in 10 parts across listening comprehension (40 minutes) and reading comprehension with language competence (70 minutes), totaling 100 points; 13 tasks are open short-answer items. A passing score requires at least 44 points (44 %). Students who take German in the common part also sit a school-set written work (písemná práce) and oral exam in the profile part.
