New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development - Provincial Assessment Program
The New Brunswick Grade 7 Mathematics Assessment (Anglophone sector) is a provincial curriculum-based assessment administered May 25-29, 2026, online through Vretta. It combines selected-response and short-answer items drawn from Middle Block: Mathematics Grade 7 across four strands - Number 35%, Statistics & Probability 35%, Patterns & Relations 17%, Shape & Space 13% - at three cognitive levels (Knowledge 35%, Skills & Concepts 45%, Reasoning 20%). Students have 60 minutes plus a 60-minute universal accommodation (up to 180 minutes per the provincial bulletin), may work in English or French, and there is no fee and no pass/fail mark; summary results will be available in the fall of 2026. This 100-question bank is an English-language multiple-choice study adaptation of the strand content: it is not an official translation, not an official-format simulation, and does not reproduce official assessment items.
