The WACE Year 12 ATAR Chinese: Second Language course enables Western Australian secondary students to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese and gain insight into Chinese culture and society. Unit 3 (Youth Culture & Lifestyle, Daily Life & Chinese-Speaking World) examines peer relationships, school routines, leisure, food, festivals, and travel. Unit 4 (Society, Technology & Environment) investigates environmental issues, social media, career aspirations, and societal changes.
