Frequently Asked Questions
Is the LEED GA vocabulary game free?
Yes. The game is free to play with no sign-up. Signing in adds AI explanations for any term.
How does the LEED GA vocabulary game work?
Each round shows a clue for one of 20 LEED GA terms. Guess the term in six tries: green means the right letter in the right spot, yellow means the letter is in the term but in another spot, and gray means it is not in the term. After the round, read the explanation and play the next term.
Where do the LEED GA terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the GBCI (Green Business Certification Inc.) content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
What is the LEED Green Associate exam pass rate?
GBCI does not publish an official LEED Green Associate pass-rate percentage. Treat any fixed pass-rate number from third-party prep providers as unofficial, and focus instead on the official 100-question format, two-hour timing, Prometric delivery rules, and the current handbook outline.
How hard is the LEED Green Associate exam?
The LEED Green Associate exam is a foundational credential exam, but it still requires fluency across LEED process, integrative planning, site, water, energy, materials, and indoor environmental quality topics. The exam tests recall, application, and analysis, so candidates should practice scenario reasoning instead of only memorizing definitions.
