Frequently Asked Questions
Is the CPP vocabulary game free?
Yes. The game is free to play with no sign-up. Signing in adds AI explanations for any term.
How does the CPP vocabulary game work?
Each round shows a clue for one of 20 CPP terms. Guess the term in six tries: green means the right letter in the right spot, yellow means the letter is in the term but in another spot, and gray means it is not in the term. After the round, read the explanation and play the next term.
Where do the CPP terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the ASIS International content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
What is the CPP pass rate?
ASIS does not publish an official global first-time CPP pass-rate percentage. Do not use an unofficial estimate to predict an individual result.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Applicants need 7 years of security experience without a degree, 6 with a bachelor's degree, or 5 with a master's degree, including at least 3 years in responsible charge. Holding APP reduces the total experience requirement by 1 year.
