The current PMA page's “Salary Grade 19 and allowances” language is an official benefit statement. It is reasonable to repeat that phrase. It is not enough information to calculate what one cadet will receive in a bank account each month.

Free college education is not the same decision as an ordinary scholarship
PMA's offer is a cadetship and a route into military officership, not merely a tuition discount. Its current Cadet Admission page pairs free college education with leadership, military skills, physical development, training and billeting facilities, Salary Grade 19 and allowances, and a progressive officer career. The Academy says its program develops cadets through Character, Academics, Military Skills, and Physical Fitness.
That makes the right family question larger than “How much tuition will we save?” A candidate must be willing and eligible to enter the selection process and the profession of arms. The live qualifications page requires, among other conditions, natural-born or naturalized Filipino citizenship, age 17 through 22 on the day of admission, Grade 12 completion with at least an 85% general average, height from 5 feet through 6 feet 4 inches, and success through written, medical, fitness, and aptitude stages.
Passing PMAEE does not itself create a cadet salary or a college place. PMA's process places result publication after the examination, then complete physical examination, Physical Fitness Test, Aptitude for the Service interview, Cadet Procurement Board deliberation, notification, and reporting. Treat a projected cadet benefit as a later-stage benefit, not cash available the day someone registers for PMAEE.
