Can You Take the VA-BC Exam?

Minimum post-secondary education and a healthcare credential in clinical practice requiring vascular access skills
Experience
At least 1 year of professional experience with current practice in vascular access, including at least two qualifying vascular access practice activities
Additional Requirements
  • Submit application by posted deadline for June (April 15) or December exam window
  • Schedule at a Prometric test center or use ProProctor remote proctoring
  • Recertify every 3 years via 30 vascular access CE credits from more than one source type, or by retaking the exam
