The Nebraska NSCAS Mathematics assessment at Grade 6 measures proficiency on the Nebraska College and Career Ready Standards (NCCRS) for Mathematics across five reporting categories: Number, Ratio, Algebra, Geometry, and Data. It is administered online as an item-adaptive (multi-stage) assessment by NWEA in spring. Mathematics transitioned to the CCR standards in spring 2018, with new math cut scores established in 2024.
