The UK Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapy qualification (VTCT, supported by BABTAC) develops advanced electrotherapy and electrical epilation skills. Knowledge is assessed by an externally-set, externally-marked multiple-choice theory exam, sat alongside practical, synoptic and portfolio assessment, with a pass mark commonly around 70%. The published number of theory questions per paper is set by the awarding body and not publicly fixed. This free prep focuses on the advanced electrical content that overlaps least with general Level 2/3 beauty: the science of electricity, galvanic (desincrustation and iontophoresis), high frequency, micro-current, faradic/EMS, vacuum suction, microdermabrasion, body galvanic, and epilation/electrolysis (galvanic, thermolysis and blend), plus relevant anatomy, contra-indications and legislation. It includes 100 research-based practice questions with explanations and an AI tutor.
