About the SISC Science Exam
The Solomon Islands School Certificate (SISC) Science examination is the national Form 5 (Year 11) science assessment run by MEHRD's National Education Assessment Division. From 2026 MEHRD lists it on the Solomon Islands School Certificate Level One (SISCL1) timetable. The course integrates biology, chemistry, physics and Earth/environmental science with Pacific island applications, and candidates sit one 3-hour written paper combining multiple-choice, short-answer and long-answer sections.
