About the NSSCAS English First Language 8167 Exam
NSSCAS English First Language (8167) is Namibia’s Advanced Subsidiary Grade 12 first-language English qualification. The NIED syllabus develops higher-level writing for real audiences and purposes, reflective analysis of linguistic choices, and critical literary study of poetry, prose and drama on prescribed set texts, assessed through two external written papers marked by DNEA.
