About the UL Entrance Exam
The University of Liberia Entrance and Placement Examination is the competitive admissions assessment administered by the Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) for prospective undergraduate students at the University of Liberia (UL), founded in 1862 as Liberia College and made a full university in 1951. UL runs a First Entrance sitting around May–June and a Second Entrance sitting around November; 11,278 undergraduate candidates registered for the 2026 First Entrance and 10,917 sat it. The examination tests two subjects, Mathematics and English Language, and the UL Faculty Senate places candidates into Regular Pass, Provisional Pass, or Unsuccessful categories.
