About the Nissho Bookkeeping Grade 1 Exam
日商簿記検定試験 1級 is JCCI's highest bookkeeping grade. The official Japanese paper uses two 90-minute sessions covering 商業簿記, 会計学, 工業簿記, and 原価計算. The pass rule is 70% overall with a 40% floor on each subject. The 2026 unified-exam calendar lists 8,800 JPY (tax included). JCCI states a Grade 1 pass grants 税理士試験 eligibility.
