The BP Esthétique Cosmétique Parfumerie (RNCP39291, Level 4 EQF) is France's senior state diploma for highly qualified beauticians, spa and institute managers. Defined by the Arrêté du 5 juin 2019 and awarded by the French Ministry of National Education through the regional académies via the Cyclades portal, it certifies advanced competence in face and body beauty and well-being treatments, client relationship and commercial animation, and the running and management of an institute or spa. The official assessment is conducted in French through a long combined written/practical/oral professional unit, an oral and written client-relationship unit and written business and general-knowledge papers — there is no official multiple-choice paper.
