How This Practice Hub Is Organized

Independent English-language MCQ study practice for the three Vocational Examinations of the Council for Vocational Legal Education (CVLE) in Mauritius under the Law Practitioners Act. Every prospective attorney and notary must pass the relevant examination, as must prospective barristers who do not hold an exempting foreign professional qualification. The barristers' and attorneys' examinations share five written papers (constitutional and administrative law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, evidence, and drafting and opinion writing) and an oral Advocacy test. The notaries' examination has six written papers on family law, immoveable property, Responsabilité Notariale et Tenue de l'Office Notariale, drafting, revenue and taxation laws, and opinion writing. The questions are study adaptations; they do not reproduce official papers or replace written problem answers, deed drafting, or oral advocacy practice.
