The New Brunswick Grade 7 Post-Intensive French Reading Assessment (Anglophone sector) is a free, online, selected-response reading assessment in French: 20-25 items based on literary and informational texts (33-66% each), targeting 60% literal, 30% inferential/interpretive and 10% personal/critical/evaluative comprehension, based on the Grade 7 Post-Intensive French Curriculum. Students have 60 minutes plus a 60-minute universal accommodation, administered May 11-15, 2026, with no pass mark; results track progress toward provincial curricular standards and are summarized publicly in the fall of 2026. This 100-question bank is an original study adaptation — French passages and questions with English explanations — not an official translation and not an official-format simulation of the real assessment.
