The New Brunswick Grade 6 Scientific Literacy Assessment is a skills-based online provincial assessment (selected-response and constructed-response items, plus a short learning-experiences survey) based on the Grade 6 Wayfinding: Making Sense of Your World curriculum (2020) and the Holistic Curriculum. Blueprint targets: Investigation 50%, Sensemaking 40%, Responsible and Sustainable Application 10%. Timing: 60 minutes plus 60 minutes of universal accommodation per the blueprint, up to 180 minutes per subject per the 2025-2026 bulletin; administered May 19-25, 2026, in English or French. There is no fee and no pass mark; results are reported by school, district and province with summaries in fall 2026.
