The New Brunswick Grade 5 Mathematics Assessment (Anglophone sector) is a free, online provincial assessment administered May 19-25, 2026: selected-response and short answer items based on Elementary Block Mathematics Grade 5, with 60 minutes plus a 60-minute universal accommodation, available in English or French. It targets Number Sense (65%), Patterns & Relations (15%), Shape & Space (10%) and Statistics & Probability (10%), with no individual pass mark — results are reported by school, district and province. This 100-question bank is an original English-language multiple-choice study adaptation for the tested curriculum; it is not an official translation, does not reproduce official items, and is not an official-format simulation (the real assessment includes short answer items).
