The New Brunswick Grade 5 French Immersion Reading Assessment (Anglophone sector) is an online, selected-response reading comprehension assessment in French, administered May 11-15, 2026, with 60 minutes plus a 60-minute universal accommodation. The official blueprint publishes a range of 20-25 items over literary (33-66%) and informational (33-66%) texts across three response levels: literal (20%), inferential/interpretive (60%) and personal/critical/evaluative (20%), based on the Grade 5 French Immersion Language Arts Holistic Curriculum. It is free, has no pass/fail mark, and results are reported by school, district and province. This 100-question bank is an English-language multiple-choice study adaptation (French passages and options, English explanations); it is not an official translation and not an official-format simulation.
