DLSU DCAT Application 2026: AY 2027–2028 Eligibility, Archers Hub, and Test Dates

The De La Salle University College Admission Test (DCAT) application is not complete when you create an Archers Hub account, upload one document, or select a test date. A first-year applicant has to use the correct DLSU Manila admission route, meet an eligible applicant category, finish the portal fields and uploads, rank three degree choices, handle the application fee or a valid waiver, obtain the test permit, and follow the instructions for the selected testing mode. Missing a provincial cutoff or the online mock test can disrupt an otherwise strong application.

This guide covers the current AY 2027–2028 DCAT cycle, whose application opened in 2026. DLSU's official first-year page was updated on July 17, 2026, and this article was checked on July 21, 2026. Dates, venues, available slots, fees, file requirements, and result instructions can change. Treat the official admissions page, your Archers Hub status, permit, and DLSU email as the final authority.

First, confirm you are applying to the right De La Salle institution

Search results routinely mix four different processes:

• De La Salle University Manila/Laguna first-year admission uses the DCAT and the DLSU Archers Hub covered here.
• De La Salle University-Dasmariñas publishes a separate DSAT process, portal, dates, and policies.
• De La Salle Lipa operates its own admission screening and online portal.
• De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde has a separate first-year application and entrance-exam workflow.

Do not transfer a fee, SAT rule, deadline, portal address, waiver policy, or test date from another Lasallian school. Begin at DLSU's official First-Year College Application page and follow its link to the DLSU Archers Hub. The DLSU logo alone is not enough to identify the process.

The live 2026 application window

For AY 2027–2028, the official first-year page lists the general application period as July 15 through September 30, 2026. That overall date does not protect every testing choice. Provincial tests have location-specific application deadlines that can arrive weeks earlier. An applicant aiming for Cebu, Davao, or Iloilo, for example, has an August 29 cutoff on the current table.

Build your timeline backward from the desired test location, not merely from September 30. Allow time for school records, a parent consent form if applicable, fee-waiver evidence, upload corrections, payment processing, verification, and permit generation. Waiting until the listed last day leaves no repair window if a scan is rejected or a portal field is wrong.

Step 1: match an official eligibility category

DLSU's current eligibility FAQ says a first-year applicant must fall into one of these routes:

1. A Grade 12 student expected to graduate at the end of AY 2026–2027.
2. A Grade 12 graduate from a local or overseas school in AY 2025–2026 or earlier who has not taken any college course; this applicant must upload DLSU's Declaration as a New Student Form.
3. A passer of PEPT, ALS, NFEA&E, or another DepEd-regulated program certified as eligible for college or tertiary admission.
4. A current Grade 12 student or graduate holding SAT, AP, IB Diploma/Certificate, or A Level results that meet DLSU criteria, subject to evaluation.

The gap-year condition is important. If you have already taken a college course, do not hide it to fit the first-year category; ask Admissions which transfer or other application route applies. DLSU says false information or fraudulent documentation can invalidate an application and can result in permanent disbarment from study at the University.

Alternative credentials are also not an automatic promise of admission or a DCAT exemption. The official page says the results and certificates are evaluated. Upload the required credential through the route DLSU provides and wait for the University's decision rather than assuming that an SAT, AP, IB, or A Level score replaces every other step.

Applicants under 18 may register. DLSU requires a signed Acknowledgement and Consent Form showing that a parent or legal guardian agrees to the Archers Hub terms and privacy notice. Prepare that consent before submission instead of using an adult's identity to create the applicant account.

Step 2: create and protect one Archers Hub application

Use an email address the applicant controls and will check through results and enrollment. Save the password securely and avoid creating a duplicate profile when a document or detail needs correction. The official FAQ says the application number appears in the upper-right corner of the application form. Record it in a private application tracker because DLSU asks for it when resolving problems.

Archers Hub automatically saves information as you move through the form. If the browser closes or the computer loses connection, sign back into the existing account and continue with the same application number. Automatic saving is not the same as final submission: return to each section and confirm it is complete before paying or submitting.

If the previous school does not appear in the portal database, use the service-request link provided in the application. Wait for the email saying the school has been added, then finish that field. Do not choose a similar school merely to move forward; the wrong institution can conflict with the scholastic record.

Step 3: build the upload file from your live portal

DLSU's public FAQ deliberately says the required file type varies by document and is displayed next to each upload button. That means a checklist copied from an older blog is not a safe substitute for the current Archers Hub. Applicant category, citizenship, age, school history, alternative credentials, and fee-waiver claim can change which uploads appear.

Use a simple evidence table while completing the portal:

Open every finished file before uploading. Check every page, orientation, cropping, name, signature, seal, and school-year label. Follow the exact PDF or image format shown beside that upload control. A filename such as scan1-final-new.jpg will not invalidate a record by itself, but a clear filename containing the applicant surname and document type reduces confusion in your own archive.

After submission, DLSU says applicants cannot directly change form entries. If personal information is wrong, submit a request through the official DLSU Service Request Ticket Portal with the full name, application number, explanation, and supporting evidence. If you forgot an attachment, use the same ticket route and attach the document. Do not create a new application profile.

Step 4: rank all three program choices deliberately

The current DLSU FAQ requires three academic-program choices—first, second, and third—and says the ranked selections guide the admission decision. Treat them as real preferences, not one dream course plus two random placeholders. Review the official program list and check the campus, degree title, college, duration, double-degree structure, and subject fit before ranking.

Ask three questions for every choice:

1. Would I enroll if this were the only DLSU offer?
2. Does the program's mathematics, science, writing, portfolio, or other demand match my preparation?
3. Can my family support the program and campus if a scholarship is not awarded?

Admission to DLSU and placement into a particular program are connected but not identical decisions. A high-demand first choice may not be the program offered. Screenshot or download the final ranked choices before submission so you can interpret the eventual letter accurately. Do not assume a post-result change of program will be available.

Step 5: handle the application fee or fee waiver correctly

Use the fee shown in your active Archers Hub application and DLSU's official payment instruction, because amounts and rules can differ by cycle and applicant type. The official admissions FAQ links a video for paying the application fee and generating the test permit. Pay only through the channel identified inside the DLSU process, retain the official receipt, and confirm that the payment is reflected in the portal.

Some Filipino applicants may qualify under the national Free College Entrance Examinations Act, Republic Act No. 12006. The law requires all of the following: natural-born Filipino citizenship, membership in the top 10 percent of the graduating class, household income below the defined poverty threshold or certified inability to meet basic needs, application to a private Philippine higher-education institution, and satisfaction of the institution's other requirements.

A waiver is not automatic because an applicant attends a public school or has financial need. Follow the current DLSU portal instructions for proof, which may include academic-rank and indigency documentation. Submit the evidence early enough for evaluation. The waiver covers qualifying entrance-examination fees and charges; it does not create free tuition, guarantee admission, or award a DLSU scholarship.

Step 6: choose the correct test mode and deadline

DLSU currently publishes campus, provincial, and online options. Availability in the application portal controls what you can actually select. Use the table as a planning map, then verify the chosen schedule on the test permit.

Provincial DCAT schedule

The official page names the host school for each province. Read the exact venue on the final permit; a city label is not sufficient for travel planning. Arrange transport and accommodation only after the schedule and location are confirmed.

Manila and Laguna campus testing

The current official table clearly lists November 8, 2026 at DLSU Manila Campus and December 6, 2026 at DLSU Laguna Campus. It also contains a malformed extra row showing a date in the venue column. Because that row is not reliable as published, do not infer a second Manila schedule from third-party reposts. Use the live portal or ask Admissions to confirm additional campus dates before making plans.

Online testing for local and international applicants

The official pairs are:

All three currently use the July 15–September 30 application window. DLSU explicitly requires online examinees to attend the morning mock session before their scheduled exam. The mock is an eligibility and technology checkpoint for that delivery, not an optional practice quiz and not the scored DCAT. Keep both dates free.

Do not select online solely to avoid travel. Confirm the device, camera, microphone, browser or software, internet stability, power backup, room rules, identification, and troubleshooting channel from DLSU's emailed instructions. The mock session is the time to expose a technical problem, not the time to ignore one.

Step 7: audit the application before final submission

Run this ten-point check:

1. The account belongs to the applicant and uses a monitored email.
2. The applicant fits one published first-year eligibility category.
3. Name, birth details, citizenship, and school records agree.
4. The correct previous school and school year are selected.
5. All three degree choices are complete and intentionally ranked.
6. Each required upload opens, is readable, and uses the displayed format.
7. Minor consent, gap-year declaration, alternative credentials, or waiver proof is included when applicable.
8. The selected test location's deadline has not passed.
9. Payment or approved waiver is reflected, and the receipt is saved.
10. The test permit shows the expected applicant, venue or online mode, date, and instructions.

Download the submitted form, receipt, permit, ticket confirmations, and relevant email. Keep them in one folder with filenames that include dates. If the permit does not match the application, open a service ticket rather than editing the document or simply attending a different venue.

Test day is one part of a broader admission decision

Follow the permit for arrival time, identification, permitted materials, room or online setup, breaks, and conduct. Do not rely on a past examinee's checklist because campus and online rules differ. For online testing, follow both the mock-session instruction and the final exam instruction; successfully entering the mock does not excuse a missed actual test.

DLSU does not publish a simple universal DCAT passing score on the current application page. Admission and program placement involve the University's evaluation, including the submitted academic information and ranked program choices. Avoid websites promising guaranteed admission from one mock-test percentage.

Step 8: monitor results, the offer, and the next deadline

For AY 2027–2028, the official page says offer or rejection letters will go to the applicant's registered email and that release dates will be communicated later. Do not copy the result date from AY 2026–2027 or assume all applicants receive messages at the same minute. Check Archers Hub, the registered inbox, spam folder, and DLSU's official announcements.

When a result arrives, identify four separate facts:

• admission status;
• offered program and campus;
• response or confirmation deadline; and
• payment, document, scholarship, and enrollment instructions.

An offer is not completed enrollment. Follow the new checklist inside Archers Hub and preserve confirmation evidence. Scholarship processes are also separate. DLSU's scholarship page lists internal and external opportunities, but eligibility, application windows, documents, and award decisions have their own rules. Do not assume passing DCAT or qualifying for the RA 12006 exam-fee waiver pays tuition.

If you miss the regular application or examination, do not assume DLSU will hold a Special DCAT. Special cycles are separate official announcements with their own applicant limits and dates. Monitor the official first-year page or contact the Admissions and Scholarships Office through admission.requirements@dlsu.edu.ph; do not pay a person claiming to reserve an unpublished slot.

The strongest DCAT workflow is administrative and academic at the same time: secure a valid application and permit early, then use the remaining weeks to prepare. A perfect reviewer cannot repair a missed provincial cutoff, wrong school record, absent online mock, or unsubmitted form. Get the application accepted first, keep every official instruction, and prepare for the exact test route printed on your permit.
