Can You Take the CBCS Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Exam can be delivered by an approved school or proctor, PSI testing center, or NHA live remote proctoring
- •Candidates taking the current CBCS exam are not permitted to bring coding manuals
- •Starting January 1, 2026, NHA exam application deadlines must be at least 8 days before the desired exam date
- •If unsuccessful, candidates must wait 30 days before retesting; after three failed attempts, a one-year waiting period applies
